Dr. Drey is a graduate of the University of Iowa and earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. He has a post-doctorate residency certification in primary care and ocular disease from the Illinois College of Optometry/Illinois Eye Institute. 

Dr. Drey's special interests include contact lenses/primary eye care, glaucoma, uveitis, and diabetic eye care. Dr. Drey earned his Fellowship for the American Academy of Optometry in 2012. He is an active member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. He also partners with Lasik Plus to co-manage patients in refractive surgery. 

Dr. Drey’s passions include diabetic eye care. Being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 5, inspired him to become an eye doctor and help care for patients with the disease. 

Dr. Drey, with his wife Michelle and daughter Emerson, participates annually in the JDRF One Walk in Chicago, which raises money for research in type 1 diabetes. He also participates in T1d Exchange, a unique non-profit organization focused on driving faster, better research to improve outcomes in type 1 diabetes.

Dr. Alyssa Petko earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Integrative Biology and minored in Business,
Chemistry, and Psychology. While in college, Dr. Petko trained mobility service dogs,
competed on a club gymnastics team, and was President of the Pre-Optometry Club.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of
Optometry. Her clinical training included rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute, Cheyenne
Vision Clinic in Wyoming, America’s Best Contacts & Glasses, and Vision Institute of
Colorado. She achieved Clinical Dean’s List at all four of her externship rotations.
Dr. Petko is passionate about providing high quality comprehensive eye exams and
educating her patients on their ocular health. Her special interests include soft and
specialty contact lenses, dry eye, and managing ocular disease. She is a member of the
Illinois Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Petko enjoys exploring Chicago with her fiance Kevin, cooking and
baking, rock climbing, and spending time with friends and family.

With over 25 years of experience, Lisa Mays loves helping people see the world more clearly.  Known for her friendly approach and attention to detail, she takes pride in finding the perfect fit for every patient.  When she's not working, she's spending time with her family and her two adorable French Bulldogs. 

Originally from Wisconsin, Hannah moved to Chicago over 12 years ago and has spent the past decade working as a professional makeup artist. Over the past year, she transitioned into the field of aesthetics, driven by a strong interest in the medical side of skincare and wellness. Now, as a licensed aesthetician working alongside Dr. Drey, she specializes in IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Radiofrequency treatments to support patients with dry eye, as well as those seeking cosmetic skin rejuvenation. Her goal is to combine a passion for beauty with results-driven treatments that help clients look and feel their best.
